Senior Surveyor Role
Join our team of experts in surveying to embark on an exciting journey. As a senior surveyor, you will be responsible for leading teams and managing projects from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing various surveys, including detail/initial/strip/EOM/service locating/monitoring/conformance/as constructed and ADAC.
* Conducting set outs as per Area Manager / Foreman instructions.
* Communicating with construction crews to ensure accurate use of survey data.
* Liaising with Foreman regarding site activities and ensuring required survey information is available.
* Liaising with Project Managers and/or Consultants to resolve design conflicts.
* Maintaining digital data and document control according to company standards.
* Liaising with Area Manager and Project Manager to ensure current revisions are utilized.
* Conducting site visits to ensure clients are supported by correct technologies.
* Overseeing equipment maintenance.
* Conducting Quality Assurance and Quality Control audits.
* Undertaking computations and required checks to create set out data and 3D models.
* Maintaining rework and variation registers and generating monthly progress claims.
* Training Junior Staff on survey computations and digital data management.
* Conducting day-to-day survey resourcing.
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Holding relevant qualifications in either Survey, Spatial Science and/or Geometrics.
* Experience on TMR or other civil projects is preferred.
* Demonstrated experience supporting construction projects.
* Registration with SBQ or SSSI.
* CAD experience particularly 12D Model & AutoCAD.
* Machine guidance support / Trimble robotics / Trimble GPS experience.
* UAV / Scanning / Data processing experience.
* Exposure to using Total Stations is advantageous coupled with experience using GPS equipment and machine guidance technology.
* Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members.
