**This Opportunity**
As a **Business Engagement Manager**, you will support the Customer Operations Division (COPS) in establishing and driving the annual plan programs of work and has both direct and indirect leadership enablement of the Performance for Growth and Legacy Exit Programs. Initiatives will range across Capex, Opex and Go To Market, spanning the full project lifecycle from Idea through to Funding, Build, Delivery and benefits realisation. The role assists the in shaping, enablement and delivering overarching outcomes. Maintain a clear focus on sustainable results, enabling overall planning for COPS front door by providing transparency on progress and issues, driving accountability, and working across COPS and other teams to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the design, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the delivery and performance of systems, processes, and services within the remit of the Spring Office, to continuously improve organisational results.
- Responsible for assisting the facilitation of front door engagement practices via the COPS front door, ensuring engagement is managed in a timely manner
- Problem Solving and removing ambiguity of dependencies of initiatives Either directly driven by COPS or Initiatives that impact COPS overall.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across all workstream where COPS is the enabler
- Accountable for supporting required interlocks across COPS working with all Workstreams, enabling program and COPS support team teams to coordinate estimations, backlog management and team mobilisation, as needed
- Follow planning and performance rituals to contribute towards overall COPS strategic roadmap - Manage a consolidated view of capacity, inflight initiatives, risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Coaching stakeholders and initiative owners to strengthen our execution muscle
- Deliver our commitments as per Milestone Plan and resolving issues where relevant
- Supporting and monitoring COPS workstreams progress on transformation.
- Assist with the coordination of required ways of working activities
- Collaboratively support initiative owners and support in the weekly overview and planning of COPS workstream
- Contribute to COPS Program team reporting activities as required and as well enabling Springboard Meeting and Reporting cadence.
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Is results-driven, non-bureaucratic and removes time-wasting tasks with great negotiation Skills and Influencing for outcomes
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing prioritisation of work across a matrix of stakeholders and domain delivery structures
- Ability to work in complex projects in an ever-changing environment
- Powerful oral and written communication skills including the ability to translate business needs into high level technology options/solutions and communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language
- You are highly analytical and yet commercially savvy with understanding of project management methodologies
- Good exposure using tolls like Excel, Power Point and JIRA
- Demonstrated skills in business project management, continuous process/systems improvement, and understanding of CARE systems and impacts.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail with advanced stakeholder management skills
- Able to lead and coordinate meetings with diverse stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a collaborative mindset
- Strong planning management and previous experience as a Business PM is preferred background is ideal
