Our client is a solutions based software company, located in Perth, works across Australia and globally in the mining and resources sector.
Job Description
* Achieve agreed budgets of new sales for the business.
* Create new leads for the business and be pro-active in lead generation.
* Utilise existing networks to develop market knowledge and introductions to new opportunities
* Prepare weekly CRM based reports based on standard formats and metrics on your sales and account management activity.
* Assist in preparation of sales and account management budgets and forecasts.
* Prepare customer quotes of a high presentation standard that are reflective of what we are able to deliver.
* Complete internal sales summary and all relevant paperwork in a timely fashion post sale.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience in a similar role within the mining sector
* Strong understanding of ERP is highly regarded
* Network of tier 2 mining clients
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
* Minimum 5 years of business development experience
