Executive Leader Wanted
We are seeking a seasoned executive to join our board as a Non-Executive Director. The successful candidate will bring expertise in technology and digital transformation to drive organisational growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
About the Role:
* The Non-Executive Director will contribute to setting and reviewing the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring strong governance and leadership in alignment with our mission and values.
* The role requires monitoring financial performance and ensuring sustainable resource allocation.
* As an external representative, the Non-Executive Director will advocate for our mission and build relationships with key stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly effective and stable board, ensuring that our organisational strategy, advocacy, and service delivery remain aligned with the needs of people living with or at risk of lung disease or lung cancer.
Key Requirements:
* A senior executive with a strong background in information technology, digital transformation, or innovation leadership.
* Deep expertise in shaping and overseeing technology and digital strategies.
* Demonstrated experience leveraging technology and innovation to drive organisational growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will assist in shaping our 5-year strategic plan by advising the Board and Executive on:
* Developing, implementing, and evaluating the Foundation's digital innovation and technology capability strategy.
* New technologies and innovations that can give us a competitive edge and maintain or stay ahead of technological trends and integrate cutting-edge solutions.
* LFA digital capability, policy, practice to remain relevant with regulations and standards including cybersecurity measures to protect our data and systems.
* Strategies that enhance the user experience, ensuring that programs and services meet customer needs and expectations in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, systems engineering or a related discipline.
* Governance training or certification (e.g. AICD Company Directors Course) - or the ability to undertake such training within one year of appointment.
