We are seeking experienced Casual Enrolled nurses who are looking to be part of a close-knit, supportive team.
As Enrolled Nurse you will participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Enrolled Nurse delivers quality evidence‐based nursing care within their scope of practice.
The Position
* Works in consultation and co‐operation with other care team members to provide care according to the physical and emotional needs of the patient and their families.
* Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the day‐to‐day mental health and basic physical care requirements of patients.
* Participate in patient assessments, including mental health, risk assessment and management, history taking and developing comprehensive nursing care plans. Ensuring risks are documented and appropriate interventions, referrals are facilitated.
* Administer medication within scope of the Enrolled Nurse classification and in accordance with statutory and organisational guidelines under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
* Advise and educate patients regarding treatment and recovery in relevant specialty.
* Maintain appropriate documentation of the health management of patients for professional clinical and legal purposes.
* Contribute, within knowledge and skill level, to the maintenance of a safe environment through prevention, surveillance, monitoring and early intervention.
You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse, and have the ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills required to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

* Casual Hourly rate: $45.80 to $48.85 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
