Team Leader – Disability (Bathurst)
About The Position
As a Team Leader, you will oversee the implementation of individualised supports within a supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes). You will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.
You will provide direct support and lead your team across a range of customer needs including; domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community. This position ensures the operation of an allotted SIL/s with administrative functions whilst providing leadership and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers to support and develop skill capacity.
This position is part-time permanent working a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight (3 days admin 9am-5pm).
About You
* Previous experience in the Health sector is highly regarded
* Demonstrated leadership experience is highly regarded
* Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
* Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
* Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
* Ability to obtain a paid NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement
* Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
* Smart Phone
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
