We are seeking a dedicated and experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As the face of our store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales and stock, and leading a small team of staff.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining visual merchandising standards
* Leading and motivating a small team of staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
* Engaging with customers, resolving queries, and promoting products in a professional and courteous manner
* Maintaining accurate records, reporting any discrepancies or issues promptly
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Retail leadership or supervisory experience (preferably food-related)
* Proven interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and focused during peak trading hours
* Professional, polite and friendly approach with a strong sense of initiative
* Eye for detail and ability to create engaging product displays
