What you’ll be doing Own end‑to‑end SAP Development outcomes across ECC, S/4HANA & integrated platforms Set the technical direction and engineering standards across ABAP, OO, HANA, integrations & secure development Act as the key authority for design decisions, trade‑offs, and technical governance Lead multi‑vendor delivery across onshore, offshore, and captive teams Ensure high-quality build: code reviews, performance, specifications, enhancements, integrations, upgrade readiness (SPAU/SPDD) Strengthen platform health by managing technical debt, vulnerabilities, and compliance Uplift team capability and modernise delivery through Fiori/UX improvements, automation & DevOps practices Establish predictable, scalable delivery through improved tooling, CI/CD patterns, and engineering discipline Shape a “one‑team” culture across internal and external delivery partners What you’ll bring 10 years SAP ABAP development experience (ABAP OO, HANA, integrations, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, enhancements, forms) Strong experience across SAP ECC modules (FI, SD, MM, PP, HR) and S/4HANA Deep understanding of integration patterns, performance optimisation & secure-by-design development Experience delivering in complex enterprise environments with multi‑vendor/offshore models Ability to influence architecture, delivery teams, and partners without direct authority Strong communication and decision‑making skills — able to translate complex technical detail into business outcomes Experience with Fiori, Personas, and modern UX concepts Background in FMCG or Retail highly desirable due to pace, scale, and operational complexity Interested?
