My client are an established tier three commercial builder known for their repeat client base on projects up to $10m. They have a diverse portfolio of work across WA with key private clients, most of which is repeat work.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual to work in a transparent and hard working team. You will oversee multiple projects concurrently. You will have ultimate responsibility for stakeholder management, planning, procurement, programming & cost control of the projects. You will be the main contact for all key stakeholders and provide a high level of communication to all parties such as clients, architects & subcontractors.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain key relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- Planning and management of programme, budget & quality of each project from tender award through to practical completion.
- Sub-contractor management including procurement, engagement, payment and final accounts.
- Work cohesively with the Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for some CA work in this role.
- Attend all site meetings, work cohesively with the Site Manager.
- Liaise with estimating team for tender preparation when required.
- Report on key project milestones directly to Construction Manager and Director.
You will be proficient in the following:
- Experience as a Contract Administrator, Junior PM or Project Manager in the commercial construction industry
- Excellent build knowledge, strong time management and effective communication skills.
- Must have / be able to manage concurrent projects.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Must be comfortable working collaboratively with a small team.
