About the Role
We are seeking an experienced configuration professional to deliver across various high-profile and critical Australian Defence programs.
The successful candidate will assist the program/project teams with the creation and control of engineering data, reporting directly to project managers. They will focus on developing plans and processes required for effective delivery of products and services into the Defence industry.
This key member of multiple project teams will support program/project deliverables and provide technical expertise at engineering reviews.
Responsibilities may include:
* Developing and delivering configuration management documentation across multiple projects/programs.
* Supporting the development of the configuration process and toolset, working closely with the CM lead and specialty engineering discipline lead.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Proven experience in a configuration management role.
* Tertiary qualifications in an engineering, configuration management or related field.
* A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in configuration management in a Defence or strong regulatory environment (e.g. Aerospace or Rail Industries).
* Strong knowledge and experience of electronic configuration management systems, preferably Siemens TeamCenter PLM.
* Experience in configuration control of Defence-based products, subsystems, and systems.
* Familiarity with Australian Naval CM-related publications (e.g. ANP3411-010).
