We are seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team in a permanent full-time role at Mount Isa Hospital. You'll deliver inpatient and outpatient services across diverse clinical areas while working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment that values professional development, cultural safety, and patient-centred care.
About The Role
As a Physiotherapist with the North West Hospital and Health Service, you will be part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team delivering Level 4 moderate complexity care across inpatient, outpatient and outreach settings. This role offers broad clinical exposure, strong professional support, and opportunities to grow your skills while making a meaningful impact in a regional health service.
* Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy across inpatient and outpatient settings to support positive patient outcomes.
* Apply developing clinical judgement to increasingly complex cases with senior supervision and ongoing professional development.
* Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to provide culturally safe, patient-centred care.
* Contribute to service improvement, student supervision, team education, and rostered on-call and extended-hours services.
Working with us
* Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum.
* Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum.
* Rural and Remote incentive: Category D allowance of $431.22 p.f.
* Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.
* Transfer and appointment expenses may be negotiated.

Requirements
* Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
* A period of probation may apply.
