Senior Underground Production Engineer
AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold exploration and development company operating the Warrawoona Gold Project and advancing development at our Nullagine Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Due to continued growth of our Nullagine underground operations, we are seeking an experienced Senior Underground Production Engineer to join our Technical Services team. This newly created role will play a key part in supporting the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of our underground mine plan while providing technical leadership across the production engineering function.
Working within a collaborative team environment, you will partner closely with underground operations, geology and survey teams to optimise mine performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role
Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, the Senior Underground Production Engineer will provide technical leadership in production engineering activities, including stope design, production sequencing, drill and blast optimisation and short to medium-term mine planning.
You will work closely with operational leadership to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently while mentoring and supporting developing engineers within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain short-term and weekly mine production plans
* Prepare and review development and production drill and blast designs
* Design and optimise stopes to maximise productivity and recovery
* Monitor and report on production performance and reconciliation
* Coordinate with underground operations to ensure production readiness and safe execution
* Provide technical support and recommendations to operational leadership
* Mentor and develop engineers within the Technical Services team
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety and cost optimisationCollaborate with geology, survey and maintenance teams to successfully deliver the mine plan
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Degree qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent
* 7+ years' underground mining experience within production engineering or technical services roles
* Experience with mine ventilation and underground production environments
* Strong capability in stope design, production planning and drill and blast optimisation
* Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and support operational decision-making
* Experience using mine planning software such as Deswik, Surpac and/or Datamine
* Progress toward a First Class Mine Manager's Certificate will be highly regarded
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams
