**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a hybrid Customer Service/Import Operations role within the Melbourne forwarding team. Previous experience in a similar role in International Freight Forwarding is ideal. Maintaining a portfolio of accounts, you will work closely with your clients for the smooth execution of freight movements. This is a hands-on Operation/Customer Service role.
**DUTIES**
- Work with overseas agents, shipping and airline contacts to ensure bookings are placed
- Ensure all shipments have a registration, all documentation is collated, and costing is updated and ready on arrival
- Work with clients to ensure cartage, and invoicing is completed
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure mínimal delays
- Report management and SOP maintenance
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 3-5 years experience in a forwarding Import/Customer Service role
- Exposed to and handled the full forwarding Import process
- Professional appearance and approach to the workday
- Demonstrated ability to explain current internal and external relationships
- Strong computer literacy (CW1, Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
