Tour Guide & Customer Service – Aquaduck
We have an exciting opportunity for an engaging and ambitious tour guide to join our growing team at Aquaduck and Paradise watersports. If you love sharing stories, enjoy entertaining groups, and take pride in presenting yourself and your workplace to the highest standard, this role is for you.
As a Tour Guide with Aquaduck or Paradise Waterbikes your primary focus will be to deliver our iconic land-and-water tours with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency. You'll bring our scripted commentary to life in a fun, family-friendly way, while also following established procedures to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of every guest.
Key Responsibilities
* Guide guests on board the Aquaduck, delivering engaging and well-presented commentary.
* Provide a professional and polished presentation at all times, reflecting the Aquaduck brand.
* Follow established safety and operational procedures, ensuring compliance at every stage of the tour.
* Welcome and check in guests, answer enquiries, and process bookings for Aquaduck and Southern Cross Tours.
* Handle phone bookings, emails, and guest enquiries with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
* Support tour operations with energy, teamwork, and a willingness to go above and beyond.
* Opportunity to guide guests on a new Water bike tour through the Surfers canals.
What We're Looking For
* Ambition to grow and develop within the tourism industry.
* Confidence in public speaking and natural storytelling ability.
* Friendly, approachable, and great with children.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to multi-task, stay organised, and follow procedures consistently.
* Previous experience in tourism, guiding, hospitality, or events is highly regarded.
* Flexibility to work weekends and school holidays.
