**IT & OT Support Technician - Moulded Fibre / Thermoforming Systems**

Adarsh Australia has embarked on an exciting new venture with the establishment of a paper recycling and moulded fibre production facility in Maddington, Perth WA.
We are seeking a full time technically skilled and proactive IT & OT Support Technician to support both traditional IT infrastructure and advanced automation systems used in moulded fibre and thermoforming equipment. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in IT support and experience (or strong interest) in industrial control systems, particularly using software. Salary in the range of $75,000 - $90,000 dependent on experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to desktop hardware, software, network access, and peripherals
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices across multi-site environments
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and security and other business platforms
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve escalated issues
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems used in moulded fibre, thermoforming, pulping, and vacuum-based equipment
- Modify, update, and deploy automation logic and HMI screens for operational improvements
- Configure and monitor OT network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable device communication
- Maintain documentation, version control, and change logs for automation and IT system of pulp production Line
- Implement and monitor OT security controls including firmware patching, access control, and remote access protocols in Pulp line machines
- Assist with integration between automation systems and higher-level platforms (e.g., MES, ERP,) in Paper/Pulp industry
**What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Automation or a related discipline
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT/OT support, systems admin, or automation/controls role, ideally in the pulp or manufacturing sector.
- Experience with service desk platforms (e.g. RemoteOn, Zendesk, Freshservice, Jira) preferred.
- Clear and qualified communication skills, with the ability to assist both office and manufacturing teams.
**Desirable Skills**
- Exposure to moulded fibre production, vacuum automation, or thermoforming equipment
- Knowledge of networking/Programming Inline Digital Printer for batch identification
- Knowledge of industrial protocols: Modbus TCP, OPC UA,Profibus,CANBUS
- Experience with industrial firewalls, VLANs, and network segmentation for OT environments related to Thermoforming lines
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
