Position Details
Melbourne Youth Justice Centre, Parkville – Permanent Part‐Time Prison Cleaner.
Start Date: As soon as possiblePay Rate: $33.61 per hour plus superHours: Monday to Friday, 20:30 to 00:30 (flexible to occasional work until 02:00 when required).
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness across a secure facility, following established cleaning procedures.
* Cleaning and sanitising offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers
* Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all required spaces
* Completing bio‐cleaning tasks when required
Qualifications
* Reliable vehicle and a full Driver Licence
* Ability to kneel, lift, and perform cleaning duties for the duration of each shift
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check and a National Police Check (within 6 months)
* Capacity to pass a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol tests
