Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage scalable IT/OT infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.
* Lead systems integration across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.
* Administer and optimise virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Configure, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
* Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity measures (zero-trust, IAM, SIEM, malware/antivirus).
* Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
* Manage M365 environments (Entra ID, Intune, Teams) and user access controls.
* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and clear documentation.
* Support end-users with Level 2/3 technical issues and deliver training where required.
* Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar IT systems engineering role.
* Strong technical expertise in:
* Windows & Linux server environments
* Enterprise networking (routing, switching, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
* Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, IaaS, containers, DevOps pipelines)
* Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Solid understanding of security frameworks (IAM, SOC, SIEM, penetration testing).
* Experience integrating IT with OT systems.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering (preferred).
* Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE, VMware Certified Advanced Professional, AWS Solutions Architect) are highly regarded.
* Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) will be highly regarded.
* This role may require occasional work outside of standard business hours to provide support to our global customer base, including US-based customers.
