We are looking for an energetic Maintenance Assistant to join Manning Valley Anglican College.
* Full-time position
* Monday to Friday | 8am to 4pm
* This position is paid on the CMEA PAOS 2025 award | level 3 $ $32.96

About your experience:
* Experience driving a Light Rigid (LR) bus and carrying out general vehicle care.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience providing maintenance and cleaning support, with a high attention to detail and pride in work standards.
* Previous experience working outdoors in a physically demanding role, with the ability to safely carry out tasks such as lifting, operating machinery, working at heights, or in confined spaces.
* Sound knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations, with a commitment to safe work at all times.
* The capability and resilience to perform a wide range of manual and technical tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the College.
Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Safety, Horticulture, Maintenance or Cleaning.
* Trade Qualification in Carpentry/Maintenance
* Current Light or Medium Rigid Licence
* Traffic Control Certificate
* NSW Working with Children Check
* National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
