We are seeking a friendly, organised and reliable Casual Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming general practice in Jindivick.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a supportive healthcare team in a community-focused setting.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a positive and professional patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries
Appointment scheduling and patient check-ins
Handling phone calls and general administration
Processing Medicare, EFTPOS and private billing
Maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting doctors and clinical staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, calm and professional with excellent communication skills
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Confident using computer systems (experience with medical software is an advantage)
Reliable, flexible and a strong team player
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role is highly regarded, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
