We are seeking a Brake Press Operator to work within our clients Dandenong South facility who will be responsible for the set up and operation of the brake press machine, specifically utilising Windows 2D Graphical Interfaces.
Day shift Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.30pmTemp to Perm Opportunity****PAY RATE: $45.00 p/h + Super + Required O/T
Key Responsibilities****
* Set up and operate Brake Press machinery using Windows 2D Graphical controllers.
* Perform folding and forming tasks based on technical drawings and blueprints.
* Select correct tooling (punches and dies) for specific jobs and material thicknesses.
* Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks using calipers and protractors.
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all OH&S guidelines.
* Additional duties required involve operating the bandsaw and guillotine machines.
*Skills & Experience*
* Proven experience operating CNC Brake Press machines.
* Specific proficiency with Windows 2D Graphical interfaces (highly regarded).
* Ability to read and interpret complex 2D/3D technical drawings.
* Strong understanding of bend allowances and material types (Stainless, Mild Steel, Aluminium).
* A high level of attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
* Reliability and a "can-do" attitude toward team deadlines.
