As a key member of our team, the Senior Event Manager will be responsible for developing, planning and executing meetings, conferences, incentive travel programs and/or special events.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in planning meetings, incentives, conventions, conferences and/or special events.
* Develops and implements strategic plans to achieve business objectives
* Manages outside vendors, sources and negotiates contract services
* Creates and manages project timelines, ensuring timely completion
* Conducts site inspections and develops creative solutions to meet client needs
* Assists in the development and presentation of sales pitches and proposals
* Tracks and reports hotel room nights and spend
* Manages day-to-day internal program budgets
* Facilitates the creative direction and overall development timeline of program websites
* Facilitates the creative direction and fulfillment of program related participant and host communications materials
* Supports and trains staff as required
