About the Role

Our ICT Directorate is at the heart of enabling student outcomes through the delivery of innovative, secure, and reliable digital services.

We are now seeking a visionary Manager, Enterprise Applications to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive the strategic evolution of our enterprise platforms.

Joining a purpose-driven agency where your leadership will directly contribute to the educational success of NSW students, you'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking ICT Directorate that values innovation, integrity, and impact.

This impactful role is pivotal in enabling NESA's digital transformation.

Responsibilities

- Drive operational excellence and strategic uplift across critical platforms.

- Influence cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver integrated, secure, and future-ready services.

- Champion innovation while balancing risk, compliance, and resource constraints.

- Ensure our digital services remain responsive to the evolving needs of educators, students, and stakeholders across NSW.

- Lead the delivery and enhancement of enterprise applications, websites, collaboration tools, M365, and telecommunications services.

- Oversee mobile and fixed-line telephony, messaging platforms, and contact centre systems to ensure seamless service performance and commercial value.

- Act as the product owner for ServiceNow, guiding its roadmap and integration within our SIAM (Service Integration and Management) capability.

- Collaborate across infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and alignment with organisational goals.

- Manage vendor relationships, licensing, procurement, and performance reporting with a focus on public sector compliance and value for money.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience managing enterprise applications and SaaS environments across cloud and hybrid platforms.

- Expertise in telecommunications services and vendor management.

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a track record of delivering complex digital services.

- A valid Working With Children Check for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at application).

Organisation and Benefits

At the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) we work with the NSW community to drive improvements in student achievement.

We achieve this by supporting all school sectors with high-quality syllabuses, assessment (including managing the HSC and NAPLAN), teaching standards (e.g., accrediting teachers) and school environments (including setting and monitoring school standards).

Total Remuneration Package: $149,739 - $173,174 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
