About the role
Modern Electrical & Solar is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a full-time Electrician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services to our residential and commercial clients.
SAA accredited for solar and battery installed highly recommended or willingness to obtain.
What you'll be doing
1. Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for both residential and commercial customers
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions
3. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
4. Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients to understand their needs
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's electrical services
What we're looking for
1. Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical licence
2. Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a similar role
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
5. Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Familiarity with electrical standards and regulations
