About the Role
As the Youth Programs Onsite Coordinator, you'll be the heart of our daily operations — designing engaging activity plans, directly supporting children, and mentoring your team to deliver safe, meaningful, and inclusive programs. This is a permanent part‑time role, working split shifts from 6:30 AM–9 AM and 2:30 PM–6 PM, Monday to Friday — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and values work‑life balance.
What You'll Do
* Develop and implement creative, engaging daily activity plans
* Lead and support a passionate team of youth support workers
* Liaise with families and the Program Leader to ensure high‑quality care and clear communication
* Provide hands‑on support to children with emotional, behavioural, or physical needs
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
* Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and compliance
* Foster a culture of collaboration, positivity, and child‑focused care
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children, ideally those with complex needs or behaviours
* Background in administration or program coordination
* Previous experience in a school or disability support setting is highly regarded
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confidence in planning and delivering daily programs and activities
* A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
* Ability to lead and support a diverse team
Essential Requirements
* Valid Driver's licence
* QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
* First Aid and CPR Certificate
* NDIS Orientation Module Certificate: 'Quality, Safety & You'
