You will play a crucial role in assisting with the alignment of governance and reporting frameworks within SFM’s strategic objectives, notably through system administration for TM1 which is central to program management of SFM’s Asset Renewal Program (ARP). You will also provide strategic and operational support across finance, administration and program functions. You won’t necessarily have niche or subject matter expert (SME) experience however a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and generalist operational skills will be very beneficial to this multi-faceted role. Additionally, we are looking to develop Branch capability across a range of general areas, such as strategic and analytical thinking, teamwork, contract/project management, communication and risk management skills. SFM’s current strategic focus is on continuous business improvement, and we are continually updating and improving our systems, knowledge, and processes, and want staff who can adapt and work with others in a dynamic environment. Within this multi-faceted role, the Assistant Director works individually, and with their team, to deliver excellent business support within the Branch. This position is required to supervise staff. Whilst flexible working options are available, it is ideal that this role maintains a presence at the office of five days a fortnight in line with our hybrid working model. The Assistant Director will be required to attend school sites occasionally for program related SFM representation. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration or project management and/or experience in a project governance environment will be an advantage. Experience in TM1 will be an advantage. This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
