Chemical Warehouse Operator
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemical Warehouse Operator to join our team in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient and safe storage and distribution of our specialty chemical products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Receiving, storing and distributing a range of hazardous and non-hazardous chemical products
* Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks
* Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
* Ensuring all warehouse operations comply with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Assisting in the preparation of delivery orders and coordinating with transport providers
* Performing general warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain organisation and cleanliness
* Mixing and blending product
* Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications or experience in warehousing, logistics or chemical handling
* Forklift and materials handling equipment operation skills and certification
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and data
* Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices
* Familiarity with chemical safety and hazardous substances handling procedures
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work
