Community Safety Officer Job Description
Our organisation is seeking a Community Safety Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our community through proactive measures and enforcement of safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Parking control and management
* Domestic animal management, including Council's animal shelter
* Fire prevention and education
* School crossings and traffic management
* After-hours on-call duties on a rostered basis
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Animal Management/Local Government/Statutory Compliance or relevant experience
* Qualification as an Assistant Municipal Fire Prevention Officer or preparedness to qualify
* High level of communication skills and attention to detail
* Customer focus when managing external stakeholders
* Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals
