Job Role
This is a full-time role for a National Commercial Partnership Manager. Your primary focus will be building and expanding relationships with key fitness group clients – including large gym chains.
In addition to managing current accounts, you will also leverage your networks and industry knowledge to identify new opportunities through targeted outreach, referrals, and event-based networking.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Growth & Management
* Act as the main point of contact for key gym group clients, ensuring consistent communication and service.
* Strengthen partnerships to develop preferred or exclusive supplier arrangements.
* Maintain regular check-ins, identify upsell opportunities, and proactively address client needs.
* Deliver proposals and commercial solutions to maximise account potential.
* Partner closely with logistics and operations to ensure smooth delivery and client onboarding experiences.
* Strategic Business Development
* Identify and engage new prospective clients within the commercial fitness space through industry relationships, networking, and referrals.
* Attend relevant conferences and events to build brand visibility and connect with decision-makers.
* Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Sales to develop strategic growth plans for untapped verticals and partnerships in the gym industry.
* Support incoming leads and manage showroom appointments.
* Maintain accurate records in CRM, documenting all client interactions and follow-ups.
* Liaise with internal teams to align on campaign activity, invoicing, stock availability, and delivery timelines.
* Provide feedback on client trends and market insights to inform product development and process improvements.
Requirements
* Proven experience in account management, ideally within the fitness, wellness, or commercial equipment industries.
* Exceptional relationship-building skills with multiple stakeholders and long-term partnerships.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
* Professional, self-driven, and highly organised, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Confident presenter and negotiator, with experience delivering proposals and closing deals.
* A genuine passion for health, fitness, and movement.
