Service Engineer, High Voltage Systems & Service
Siemens Energy Grid Technologies is a leader in the supply, design, construction, installation, and commissioning of onshore and offshore substations. Due to expanding market opportunities, we are looking for a Service Engineer responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for products and systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
* Certified Associate Level Electrical Engineer (advantageous)
* 3 to 5 years of experience in high voltage systems and solutions (e.g., GIS, AIS, Power Transformer, Circuit Breaker, Disconnector, Surge Arrester, and SCADA systems)
* Good command of English, both written & spoken
* Proficiency in MS Office applications and precision measuring tools
* Flexibility and willingness to participate in international projects for a certain period
* Accurate and quality-focused management of project timelines and deliverables
* Full working rights in Thailand and ability to travel
Your Responsibilities
* Controlling and evaluating project progress; reporting to the project manager
* Coordinating all activities of suppliers and subcontractors
* Performing quality checks/inspections to ensure assembly work meets requirements
* Coordinating technical support with internal and external partners
* Assisting in report generation and NCC-reporting to the project manager
* Ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented
* Organizing, compiling, submitting, and controlling technical documents
* Assisting project manager in risk analysis
Additional Responsibilities
* Installation and configuration of equipment and systems at customer sites
* Routine maintenance and repairs, diagnosing issues, and minimizing downtime
* Providing on-site and remote technical support
* Analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems
* Educating customers on equipment use and maintenance
* Maintaining accurate service records
* Collaborating with sales and engineering teams for feedback and improvements
* Ensuring safety compliance and maintaining a safe working environment
* Traveling to customer sites as required
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* 2+ years of experience in service engineering or related roles
* Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
* Willingness to travel and adapt to various working environments
