The Finance Business Manager – Capital Projects will provide financial based leadership, advice, and support to the Executive portfolios of Capital Projects and Digital Health & Technology Projects. The role will lead on delivering regular financial performance management reporting, budgeting, financial variance analysis, month end processes and financial advice for key infrastructure and digital technology projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide expert advice to the Capital Projects and Digital Health & Technology portfolios in relation to strategic and operational management of financial resources, financial and procurement policies and procedures, and general administration in line with the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic Plan.
* Preparation of reports and actioning of capitalisation data within asset components from project financial reporting including the adjustments within the financial management system which impact both asset values and component lifecycle. Using the current accounting standards and Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service policies to identify tangible and intangible assets and account for them correctly.
* Report and monitor performance against the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service compliance framework, ensuring that effective internal controls and risk management processes are in place for the business advisory function to provide a high level of assurance to management on the integrity of reported information.
Remuneration value up to $171 568 p.a., comprising salary between $140 115 - $150 371 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for 12 months).
