We are seeking an individual with strong organizational skills to fill a Payroll Officer position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process payroll for employees in accordance with relevant tax laws, awards, and enterprise agreements.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and manage employee queries promptly.
* Prepare reports for management and assist in audits as required.
* Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
* Stay up-to-date with legislation and industry standards affecting payroll operations.
Requirements:
* Keen interest in payroll, finance, or HR administration.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic Excel skills; familiarity with payroll systems is a plus.
The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. They will be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
