About theRole

Thisposition works as part of the Civil Delivery Team which isresponsible for ensuring the effective and effective completion ofplanned, scheduled and reactive maintenance works for the sectionthrough applying specialist skills in the management ofinfrastructure networks and providing technical expertise duringthe implementation of maintenance work programs.

Thisspecific role will lead and manage a team of people in the RuralRoad team. The role will work from the Dalrymple RoadDepot.

AboutYou

Ourideal candidate will have:

Mandatory

- ConstructionIndustry White Card (30215 QLD)
- Current‘MR’ Class Driver's Licence.
- TrafficManagement Implementation (TMI) accreditation under the Manualof Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
- Demonstratedcommitment to and practice of a leadership style that supports,motivates and inspires individual and teamachievements.
- Experienceleading construction personnel in the construction of municipalinfrastructure.
- Experience inthe construction of Council infrastructure including a detailedknowledge of construction materials and theirapplication.
- Certificateassociated with the successful completion of the Safe WorkingNear Live Exposed Parts training course.
- Plant OperatorsCertificates of Competency for the types and classes of plantutilised in this position.
- Graderticket.
- First AidCertificate.
- A high level oforal and written communication skills with the ability toeffectively and professionally engage with and influenceothers.
- Excellentcustomer service skills with the ability to develop andmaintain both internal and external workrelationships.
- Sound problemsolving skills with the ability to achieve creative, effectiveand efficient solutions to challenges and changes.
- An ability toperform basic numerical calculations and processdocumentation.
- An ability toconduct basic survey and set out tasks.
- Demonstratedprevious experience in the maintenance of municipal roadinfrastructure, or municipal concrete and drains maintenance,or municipal lines and signs maintenance.
