Taste Growers Market is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure reliable network performance across retail systems, point‐of‐sale infrastructure and internal business operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless networks and related network infrastructure, including routers, switches and servers.
* Monitor network performance and availability, identifying and resolving network connectivity, performance and system faults.
* Administer and maintain network operating systems, servers and associated hardware infrastructure.
* Configure, manage and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, access control systems and security protocols to protect organisational data.
* Implement and manage system backups, redundancy solutions and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and network reliability.
* Perform network upgrades, patch management and infrastructure improvements to maintain system efficiency and security.
* Configure and maintain network access and connectivity for business systems and applications, including retail POS systems and internal operational platforms.
* Analyse network usage, capacity and performance, and recommend network optimisation and infrastructure enhancements.
* Maintain accurate technical documentation relating to network architecture, configurations, procedures and system changes.
* Liaise with vendors and service providers regarding network hardware, software, maintenance and support services.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor degree or higher qualification or at least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification may substitute for the formal qualification.
* 1‐2 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience preferred in managing LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches and firewalls.
* Knowledge of Windows Server, cloud services and network security practices.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and ability to provide user support.
