Join to apply for the Graduate Sales Development Representative (SDR) (B2B) (SaaS) role at Sitemate
Base pay range
A$70,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr
Brief overview of this role:
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sydney team, to help accelerate our growth in the Oceania region.
* This role would be perfect for you if you are an experienced SDR/BDR in both outbound and inbound sales motions. Everything at Sitemate is currently inbound, but we will be experimenting with outbound in future, and you could be a part of building out that process.
* This role would be great for you if you’ve already had some SDR/BDR experience and are looking to progress. Our inbound lead flow is constant, a dream for any SDR.
* Alternatively, if you have studied anything business-related, and are looking to start your professional career. Maybe you’ve had some casual sales, marketing or business experience whilst studying, and you’re looking to go full-time, if this is you please also get in touch!
* You’ll be working closely with the Director of Sales Development and colleagues within the SD function. You will be exposed to both of Sitemate’s founders and cross-functional teams, gaining a broad understanding of how the SaaS delivery model works.
* You won’t be expected to know anything about tech, or our customer’s industries in the built world - construction, utilities, renewables and building. A strong interest in tech and any prior exposure to these industries would help, but otherwise we’ll teach you everything.
Employment:
* Full-time
* Based: Sydney, Australia
Remuneration (incl. super/pension): AUD $75,000 - 110,000
* Base Salary (incl. super/pension): AUD $50,000 - 70,000
* Commission (incl. super/pension): AUD $25,000 - 40,000

* Our Sydney office in Haymarket has fantastic on-site facilities including a rooftop garden, wellness centre, showers and cycle storage. The transport connections are excellent. Every Monday, the team enjoys a catered lunch together from one of the many nearby options.
* You will be remunerated based on your performance. If you are performing well, you won’t need to wait 3 years or have to find better offers elsewhere to receive an increase to your remuneration. 7 out of the last 10 remuneration increases for Sitemate team members have been made pro-actively by management, without the individual needing to even raise the topic of remuneration.
* You will get a laptop and a budget to set up your home office (monitor, headphones etc).
* You will have visibility into the standardised career development plan for your role, and access to a professional learning and development budget.
* You will get equity options and ownership in Sitemate on a standard vesting schedule.
* Sitemate has strong financial backing from Blackbird (Australia and NZ’s #1 Vc), Shearwater Growth Capital & Marbruck Investments.
What is the working environment like at Sitemate?
* We are very transparent - monthly Allhands meetings provide the team with direct insight into team updates, customer stories, hiring plans and key metrics (NPS, Revenue, Financial Performance).
* We place an extremely high value on your time - you won’t be spending your days wasting time on fighting internal systems, botched together spreadsheet processes or doing data entry.
* You will have a high degree of autonomy, as the focus is on outcomes and not hours. If you want to block off a few hours to run a personal errand or block off an hour to pick up the kids from school - no worries. No one will be monitoring your time.
What does Sitemate do, exactly?
* Sitemate builds best in class software products for the built world.
* Industrial companies operating in the built world are facing a number of mission critical challenges.
What will I be doing day to day in this role?
* You will be qualifying and routing inbound leads through three channels; self service, inside sales and field sales.
* You’ll be spending most of your time with prospects across phone calls, emails and live chat on our website.
* Your quota is measured by the number of demonstrations booked and completed at the subsequent stage of the process.
What will be the biggest challenges for me in this role?
* Learning about the built world if you haven’t had any exposure to it.
* Up-skilling your call/phone and email skills.
* Understanding SaaS financial acronyms and common terminology.
* Learning how to use Salesforce.
