Lead Maintenance Professional
This role involves overseeing key maintenance and engineering functions. It is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction while safeguarding the owner's investment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional support to senior staff in meeting property goals.
* Plan and execute preventative maintenance to maintain high standards for a positive guest experience.
* Manage maintenance requests and analyze the system regularly to identify areas for improvement.
* Delegate tasks to team members or contractors as required.
* Champion resource efficiency and conservation efforts.
* Routine testing of fire alarms and emergency lighting systems as required by local authorities.
* Liaise with senior staff regarding contractor use, expenditure control, and work quality.
* Ensure cost-effective rubbish removal and monitor hotel cleanliness.
* Collaborate closely with front desk and housekeeping to expedite room turnovers.
Requirements:
* Qualified Engineer (preferred)
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Strong technical knowledge of building systems
* Health and safety regulations knowledge
* Australian Standards familiarity
* Body/Owners Corporation Experience
* Project management skills
