What You'll Bring
* Previous experience as a kitchen steward or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant, or café.
* Strong understanding of food safety and OH&S standards, with ability to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
* Ability to support daily kitchen operations efficiently and complete tasks as directed by senior chefs.
* Skilled in minimizing waste through careful handling of food and resources.
* Positive attitude with strong communication skills and ability to foster teamwork within kitchen and service teams.
* Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and tasks across different areas of the hotel.
* Physically capable of performing manual duties including lifting, standing for extended periods, and cleaning.
* Commitment to professional appearance and adherence to workplace policies and grooming standards.
* Willingness to participate in training sessions to develop culinary skills and grow within the team.
