Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in driving store performance and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales growth by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer experience
* Monitor and analyse store sales performance daily, weekly, and monthly – celebrate wins and identify opportunities for growth
* Manage rosters and wage spend to achieve operational efficiency
* Coach and mentor team members, driving high morale, ongoing training, and succession planning
* Oversee stock levels, store presentation, shrinkage control, and operational excellence
* Ensure compliance with all OH&S policies and relevant state and national legislation
Requirements:
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
* Experience in managing a team and developing their skills
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures
