The company is looking for a full-time experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team in **Goulburn** NSW. As a sheet metal worker, you will be working as part of a team on the workshop floor, and you'll be marking, cutting, shaping, forming, and joining sheet metal, manufacturing flashings to specifications, fabricating other metal products etc.
**Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to**:
- Read and interpret drawings to determine project requirements and materials.
- Working with materials such as stainless steel, steel, zinc, aluminium, gall and pipework.
- Marking out metal sheets.
- Operate sheet metal related plant and equipment such as guillotines, folders, rolling machines.
- Operating laser cutter and other metal drills to cut metal stock to template/guidelines.
- Use of various machine tools and hand tools used in the manufacturing process.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to achieve production targets and maintain efficiency.
- Finishing components into final products with spot/MIG welding, and other methods of joining, etc.
- Ensuring OH&S; regulations are complied with at all times.
- Completed trade certificate or have 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant products and industry knowledge.
- Previous experience with AMADA sheet metal fabrication machines is advantageous, not not required.
- Desirable, but not essential, to have experience operating a CNC press brake.
- Must be able to follow instructions both written and verbally.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong safety focused work ethic.
- Reliable and honest.
