Programmed is seeking a hands‐on individual to provide field and nursery support to their Client for the Strawberry Breeding Program, which develops improved strawberry varieties for Australian growers and consumers.
Location: Wandin
Key Duties And Accountabilities
* Propagation and maintenance of strawberry plants in shade houses and on tables
* Preparation, planting, maintenance, and harvesting of strawberry breeding trials at the Wandin
* Collection of plant and fruit data as required
Key Capabilities
* Physical ability to work in hot, cold, and challenging outdoor field conditions
* Ability to listen attentively and accurately follow instructions
* Capacity to work well independently
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment
Working Hours
* Start times vary between 7:00am and 8:00am
* 5 days per week
