Position
St Elizabeth's Outside School Hours Care is looking for dedicated educators to join our team in a casual role at the St Elizabeth's Primary School. The role supports up to 135 children in before‐school, after‐school, and vacation care.
Responsibilities
* Provide nurturing care and genuine support for children
* Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all
* Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational activities
* Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with the team
* Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
* Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care
* Come to work excited, knowing you are making a real difference in children's lives
Job Requirements
* Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines is desirable but not essential
* Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* A passion for the education and care of school‐aged children in a play‐based environment
* First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
* Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
