IT Service Desk Lead
We are seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Lead to work on major client projects in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure, provisioning and securing endpoints, enforcing device policies, and monitoring threats.
Key Responsibilities
* Infrastructure Management: Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage) for high availability.
* Endpoint Security: Provision and secure endpoints via Intune and Autopilot with compliance enforcement.
* Device Policy Enforcement: Enforce device policies using BitLocker, Defender AV, and app control via MDM.
* Azure Firewall Configuration: Configure Azure Firewall, network segmentation, and private endpoints for IP protection.
* Threat Monitoring: Monitor and respond to threats using Microsoft Defender.
* Network Maintenance: Maintain VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and secure IP routing across sites.
* Microsoft 365 Security: Maintain Microsoft 365 security across Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
* OS Hardening: Apply OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation across all systems.
Requirements
* Certifications: Microsoft certifications, such as MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 certifications.
* Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a relevant field.
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong Proficiency: Strong proficiency in troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* In-depth Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, Entra, and Endpoint Manager.
* Solid Understanding: Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and server operating systems.
* Networking Concepts: Proficiency with networking concepts and protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Prioritization: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
