Overview
We are seeking skilled and passionate Motor Mechanics to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles, and a robust commitment to safety, precision, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues in petrol-powered vehicles
- Dismantling and reassembling engine components, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking system
- Conducting routine servicing, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups
- Testing and adjusting vehicle systems for proper performance using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Replacing worn or defective parts and referring to service manuals as required
- Ensuring vehicles comply with roadworthiness and emissions standards
- Keeping accurate service records and communicating clearly with customers about repairs and costs
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates if appropriately licensed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year' experience in a similar role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound understanding of workplace safety and compliance standards
