Offer description

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team at an open cut mine. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals with a passion for heavy earthmoving equipment.

This role involves carrying out electrical repairs, diagnostics and fault finding on systems, working collaboratively with other trades to achieve common goals, and interacting with customers to meet company objectives.


Key Responsibilities

* Carry out 12/24-volt electrical repairs and routine PM improvements on mobile plant equipment.
* Diagnostics and fault finding on electrical systems.
* Work cohesively within a team to achieve project goals.


Requirements

* Must have full working rights in Australia.
* Hold a current Australian Driver's licence (HR licence preferred).
* Nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate.
* Nationally recognised Air Conditioning licence and High-Risk Licence.
* Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi).
