Applications are invited for the position of Trainee Customer Service Officer with the Shire of Coorow, to undertake a Certificate 3 in Business. The position is based in the Coorow Administration Office.
You will be the initial point of contact for the community, serving as the first face or voice in accordance with the Shire's Customer Service Charter. The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for responding to customer enquiries and providing Driver and Vehicle Licensing services, tourism, and general administration duties, plus studying to obtain a Certificate 3 in Business.
The person we are seeking will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate and be able to demonstrate their ability to perform effectively as part of a small team.
This position is offered under the Miscellaneous Award 2020 (Trainee wage level A) with a weekly wage of $ based on a 38-hour week). This may vary, based on the age of the successful applicant.
The Shire offers generous Superannuation benefits. Applicants must hold and maintain a current WA C Class driver's license. A satisfactory pre-placement medical and police clearance will be required by the successful applicant before commencement and a three-month probationary period will apply.
