Role Overview
We are seeking an Aquaculture Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art prawn farm in Australia.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor water quality and prawn health on a daily basis, ensuring the optimal conditions for growth and development.
* Fully comply with all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Utilize digital systems (iPad) to record data and complete tasks efficiently.
* Provide general support to the farm operations team as required.
Requirements:
* Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and be able to identify potential issues early.
* Show reliability and a commitment to safety.
* Have basic technology skills, including proficiency in using iPads.
* Aquaculture/farming experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6pm - 6am) on a 7/7 roster.
* Display a positive attitude and be a team player.
* Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to site.
* Be entitled to work full-time in Australia.
