**Details of Department**
Austin Health is one of Victoria's largest health care providers, comprising Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Hospital as well as community based health services. The Medical Workforce Unit provides Doctors in Training (DiT) to the health service to ensure wards and services are staffed appropriately to provide patient care under the guidance of Consultant medical staff. Our DiT's provide care to patient's across most medical disciplines, including General and Specialty Medicine, General Surgery, Specialty Surgery (including Plastics and Orthopaedic Surgery), Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Aged Care Medicine.
**Details of position/position requirements**
Current opportunities are available in General Medicine, Psychiatry (ADAS, VIFM, and PTRS), Gastroenterology, and Plastic Surgery as well as in General Medicine (including rotations to Bendigo Health) and rotations to Emergency Medicine.
These roles are available to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient care is delivered safely in a team-oriented and stimulating work environment. You will be required to work collaboratively with patients, their families and care givers, and the wider team to ensure that patient goals are achieved.
