**Your next opportunity**:
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Logistics and Allocations Manager to drive Boral's operational excellence framework across our Victorian asphalt business. You will provide functional expertise & support across logistics allocations and compliance functions ensuring optimal performance across safety, customer experience, profitability and regulatory compliance.
This role is highly suited to multi-functional, Operations leader with demonstrated experience in on road heavy vehicle/Asphalt delivery management. You will have exceptional knowledge of Chain of Responsibility & Heavy Vehicle National Law, and have proven success with people, process and operating efficiency.
**What your day will look like**:
- Contract Management of a portfolio of contractors of both, LOD's and fleet owners who deliver asphalt for Boral Asphalt to both internal and external customers.
- Secure an appropriate portfolio of external tippers/carters ensure all DIFOT requirements of all Asphalt are met.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the Tipper business to help with utilsisation of fleet and source extra capacity
- Manage a team of Resource Schedulers to take orders from customers, plan, book and allocate appropriate capacity.
- Deliver a compliance program (including Chain of Responsibility) for both internal and external Heavy Vehicles.
**What we are looking for**:
- Heavy Vehicle Chain of Responsibility exposure
- Transport Allocations/customer service
- Carter Management (T&C's, Onboarding, Breach Management)
- Building a portfolio of Subcontract Carters
- B2B Supply Chain Logistics experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- Extensive knowledge of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and relevant Health & Safety regulations
