Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities
* Help to develop the next generation of leaders in our stores by training and coaching team members.
* Keep the store looking top‐notch, upholding the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
* Manage inventory, minimise losses, and ensure optimal stock levels.
* Work alongside the team on registers, shelf filling and merchandising special buys.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and propose valuable ideas.
* Ensure smooth store operations to keep our customers highly satisfied.
* Step up and run the store when the Store Manager is on leave.
Qualifications
* Experience leading teams, preferably in a customer‐facing environment.
* Excellent communication skills to inspire teammates and delight customers.
* Passion and capability for motivating, training and encouraging team performance.
* Ability to support the Store Manager to achieve store results.
* A professional and responsible approach to every situation.
* Capability to work independently and oversee execution of ALDI policies and procedures.
