Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Cremorne, Richmond, 3 days onsite
Duration: Initial 3‐month contract
Daily rate: $1050 p.d. incl super
About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high‐impact project with one of Australia's leading infrastructure and services organisations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in cloud‐native environments, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and brings strong hands‐on experience across Azure, CI/CD, and modern data platforms.
Key Technical Skills
* Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices
* Azure services including Databricks, ADLS, Key Vault, Function Apps, Logic Apps
* SQL skills (PostgreSQL or Azure SQL preferred)
* Understanding of OAuth/OIDC and secure application deployment
* Front‐end development experience with modern frameworks (preferred)
* SAP front‐end/back‐end API development (preferred)
* Python development experience (preferred)
Experience Required
* 5+ years in DevOps or Azure engineering roles
* Proven experience using Azure tools, services, and cloud resources
* Hands‐on experience with SQL, Databricks, and Azure data services
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently in fast‐paced environments
Clearance & Eligibility
* Australian Citizen (mandatory)
