Altus Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5-10 years of experience to join our Development Advisory division in Sydney.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed and accurate cost analyses, estimates, cost plans, and feasibility studies for construction projects.
2. Be technically proficient in all aspects of pre and post contract QS services.
3. Manage client expectations and maintain client relationships.
4. Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors, including mentoring junior staff.
5. Take responsibility for a portfolio of projects across different sectors.
6. Provide career development opportunities for high-performing employees.
Job Requirements:
1. Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
2. Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
3. Membership in an approved Professional Body (e.g., AIQS, RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of the local construction industry, including development, contracting, and consulting sectors.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Self-motivated with high integrity, honesty, and ethics.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Skills in client file management, planning, and organization.
